Forté Olefin Residue Cleaner is a specially formulated cleaning agent which dissolves and removes olefins, one of the components of fuels and engine oil. These olefins which end up in the inlet section through the crankcase ventilation or the EGR-system, deposit on throttle valves, in throttle housings and in idle air controls. They result in an inferior mixture preparation, which has a negative effect on combustion and exhaust gas emissions.

When used in accordance with directions Forté Olefin Residue Cleaner offers the following advantages:

• Dissolves deposits from olefins on throttle valves, throttle housings and Electronic Throttle Modules (ETMs).

• Cleans idle air control valves and EGR-valves of petrol engines.

• Cleans EGR-valves and detached inlet manifolds from diesel engines.

• Cleans the crankcase ventilation system.

• Improves idle running of the engine and decreases internal soiling from the EGR and crankcase ventilation system.

Use of Forté Olefin Residue Cleaner has a positive influence on the action of lambda probes and catalytic converters. Forté Olefin Residue Cleaner must be used on a regular basis at service intervals in engines which are susceptible for deposits from olefins on throttle valves, throttle housings or ETMs.

Forté Olefin Residue Cleaner can safely be used for throttle valves with a special coating.

In diesel engines Forté Olefin Residue Cleaner can be used to detach glow plugs when these are difficult to remove or have become stuck.
